Who are Canada Winter Adventure travel tour operators?

The Canada Winter Adventure partnership has been sharing their love of the outdoors and winter adventure with guests since 2004, bringing together a unique range of activities including dog sledding, snow shoeing, caving, native bushcrafts  and luxury accommodation you cannot get anywhere else..

We cater specifically for adventure seekers who want a unique and personal experience where you can learn about Canada, the activities, and native bushcraft skills. Each adventure company takes great care to be sure group sizes are small, you will personally meet the guides and we promise you will come away knowing so much more about the great outdoors. With the added comfort of warm cosy luxury accommodation at the end of each day.

Explorers at Canmore CavernsCanmore Caverns Ltd is a registered business in the Town of Canmore and a current member of the Canmore and Banff/Lake Louise Tourism associations. It was incorporated in 1985 to provide "wild cave tours" in Rat's Nest Cave (a Provincial Historic Site), guiding clients with no previous experience into the cave in its natural undeveloped setting and interpreting its natural history and ecological importance. Our client base includes many adventure enthusiasts from all over Canada, North America and Europe. Our tours are included in many outdoor education programs of numerous colleges and universities in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario and elsewhere in Canada. We also offer team building, corporate experiences and caving courses.

Maddog and Englishmen Dog SleddingMaddogs and Englishmen are a multi-activity Sled Dog Touring company offering guided Dog Sled & Ski-joring tours on trails within Kananaskis Country. Our trips range from 2-hour & half day to full day or multi-day on request.  Each winter we work with the British Army for their winter adventure/survival training and have put together some extensive multi-day packages for them that we can pass on to our clients. We also work closely with other local guiding and accommodation companies and have put together exciting multi-activity packages, some including accommodation, that really give the visitor the full experience of what the area has to offer. This year we will be adding some summer fun to the mix as we open up the kennel for tours. Here you will meet and play with the dogs, learn about a working kennel operation then also learn a little about the natural area and the history of dog sledding by walking our nature trails.
